Tuesday Tried It!!!!

Chromebook....
I got one!! What a surprise on Mother's Day. My husband is wonderful and COMPLETELY spoils me. So I'm all sorts of trying this baby out! I will definitely be posting more about it :)

Crofts' Classroom is FINALLY on Pinterest. I think all my non-teacher friends were getting sick of me pinning a ton of teacher stuff! I wasn't sure if I would like having two pinterest accounts, but I do! I'm lovin' it!

  1. I am wanting buy a new computer and still deciding what will give me the best bang for my back... can you create documents on a Chromebook? Or is it just for internet use?

Sorry if that is a dumb question.

    1. That is not a dumb question! You use Google Drive on the Chromebook which has documents (like Microsoft Word), presentation (like powerpoint) and a few others. It is completely internet based which I'm beginning to love because no matter where I login at I have complete access. You can also upload the clipart you purchase into Google Drive. The Chromebook does have access to store files on the actual computer too. It is Chrome based which means no programs other than what can be found on the internet. At first I was like "no way I could do that! What about all of my wonderful stuff I have?!" But I've started storing things in Google Drive and it is so much easier. I am just scratching the surface but I LOVE my little Chromebook. And it was only $249.

Oh..by the way, I saw your Homeworkopoly...one of my posts has a link where you can create your own community chest cards - looks exactly like the ones that come in the game and you can write whatever you want on it!

  4. Can't wait to hear what you think about your Chromebook. (Lucky you!!) We're thinking of getting one for our daughter for high school, but I don't know anyone who has one to give me their opinion. Keep in touch!

  5. Chromebook? I didn't even know what that was! Thanks for enlightening me:) I should consider a new Pinterest account too since I just added a fb page for my blog. Can you easily transfer your boards to your new Pinterest account?
