I've used calendar math previously and LOVE...1. I've used calendar math previously and LOVE it as a spiral review! I would never not use something like this.<br /><br />2. I need to be better at connecting math to the real world. I love the idea of bringing in articles and "stuff" from my real life and showing how it is connected to math. Then slowly turn this over to the kids and have them start bringing in things that represent math in their world.<br /><br />3. I plan on having my Calendar Math spiral review first thing in the morning as the students walk in! I can't wait!! NOD is a great way to reinforce previously taught skills and keep them fresh in the students' minds.<br />2. I need to work on this. I plan to incorporate the Math Connections from p. 83 next year.<br />3. I plan to use How Did My Family Use Math Last Night and ______Makes Me Think Of.
